Pantelleria Verde
Pantelleria is a collection of artisanal crafted tiles, dedicated to the spirit of the island from which it takes its name . Drawing inspirations from the color of its base material - volcanic lava, all sizes in this collection are produced with this black base- a refractory clay mixture of basaltic minerals and clay . The mixture is fired at the same temperature of a porcelain firing , arriving to a porcelain like technical properties.

Installation:
Attention! Pantelleria tiles are non-rectified , non calibrated in length. Inspect the tiles first ! Depending on the pattern you have in mind, please mock it up on a dry layout to see if works. Pantelleria will not work in on-set or stacked pattern, however , it will work and look great with a staggered pattern, tile should overlap no more than 20%. Use high bond, property thin set. Allow a min. 1/16” grout joint. Use masking tape around the tiles to avoid any grout run-offs to the textured surface. Please do clean grout residues with a sponge or smooth brush immediately right after grouting. Failure to do so will ruin the final consistent look.
No Trim piece available , for further finishing, installer may consider sanding the long edge with a very smooth sand paper
